Jill got her start in film as a costume assistant on the classic Australian film, Road To Nhill. Working in a variety of costume department roles, she landed the costume design gig on the feature film Yolngu Boy. Later, her costume design work on Tom White saw her nominated for an AFI award and the film was also the only English language film selected for the International Festival of Cinema Costumes and Fashion, in Paris, in 2006.
